What is Jailbreaking?
Jailbreaking is a hack that allows developers to access the file system of your iDevice, meaning the root directory. In simpler terms it means that developers can now have access to all the files on your iDevice. They can then create apps that are possible of pretty much anything. These files would normally be hidden and not be able to be seen or edited with a normal non jailbroken device but this is where jailbreaking comes in. When you jailbreak your iDevice you now have control over everything.
